"Bought these 9 years ago for my kids, in the 1 cup size. They still work. No smell on the plastic as the food rarely touches any part of it ( only when kids close it up after lunch. I'm here to buy larger sizes as they are in their teens and need more than the 1 cup size."

"I did a bunch of research before buying this...and the other reviews are correct, it will keep your soups & mac/cheese etc. hot for lunch. BUT, you must boil hot water and let it sit in the container for at least 10 minutes before you put your food in it, that is the key to keeping it truly hot. Overall, a satisfied customer. :-)"
"I have been looking for a thermos for my son to keep hot foods hot. We have tried many and everyday he would tell me his lunch was cold so it didn't taste good. So we purchased this one in a last ditch effort. Instead of sending him to school with a lunch that could be cold I decided to include him in an experiment and test it out at home. We put boiling water in it and closed it for 10 min as the warm up period. Then we stuck chicken nuggets in the microwave for 1:30 and then promptly into the pre heated thermos. We took at temperature reading and it was at 150�. 6 hours later we took another reading at it was at 139�. 8 hours later it was at 134�. He took his lunch in it the last three days and still asking for more foods. It has opened up a whole new lunch world for my son. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants hot food without the hefty brand name price tag."
"I use this for work lunches. I cannot believe how long it holds the heat. I heat my soup at 4:30 am and when I have lunch at 11:30 am there is literally still steam coming off my food. I can't begin to tell you how great this thermos is. I would have never thought it would have kept my food so hot for so long. "A user on a Ninja Creami group recommended this to store leftovers from Creami. It is especially useful for leftovers that are low fat/sugar as these tend to refreeze hard. Normally, they would require a respin in Creami, which tends to not be a creamy. By putting the leftovers in this thermos, you can put the leftovers in the fridge and they stay soft for a full 24 hours. It is also great for taking my Creami creations to go to share with friends away from my home."
