Kid-Friendly Chunky Guacamole

Avocados are a popular superfood for kiddos because they are packed with nutrients that support healthy growth and development! Mix up this super-powered side that kids are sure to love - serve with chips, peppers, quesadillas, and more!

 

Ingredients: 

  • 3 large ripe but firm avocados
  • 1/2 cup finely diced red onion
  • 1 cup sliced cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 cup cilantro chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon flakey sea salt

 

Instructions:

  • Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop out the insides, leaving them as whole as possible.
  • Mash ONE avocado
  • Place the mashed avocado in a bowl, add the onion, tomatoes, garlic, lime juice, cilantro, and cumin. Mix well.
  • Add in the avocado chunks and sea salt, and mix well.
